Microsoft Flight Simulator

MSFS, strictly speaking, isn't a combat flight simulator, but what it lacks in guns and bombs, it makes up for in realism and flexibility. It also allows you to fly planes that combat flight sims are unlikely to model, such as the PBY Catalina.

My most recent project was to build a model of the RA-5C Vigilante, the Navy's prime reconaissance platform during the Vietnam War. It was (and still is) the only continuous Mach2+ aircraft other than the SR-71, but unlike the Blackbird, it could be operated from carrier decks.
